Selene Marsh
Selene Marsh is the name one of our astrologers writes under. She prefers it that way: the readings are hers, the name is not. Every page on this site starts from a chart computed from real positions and real dates, and nothing is published without hers review.
Money is never just money
Money can be safety. It can be permission. It can be proof that you matter. It can be the thing you control when everything else feels uncontrollable. It can be the thing you spend when you need to feel alive.
That is why I never became very interested in astrology that promises wealth. I became interested in the person who earns more and still feels unsafe, the person who saves obsessively and cannot enjoy it, the generous person who quietly resents everyone they rescue, and the talented person who keeps charging less than the work is worth.
I have studied astrology for twelve years. My early training took place in Bristol through a structured natal-chart program covering planets, houses, aspects and predictive cycles. Later, I worked remotely with a private mentor on the second and eighth houses, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter, and on the way family narratives around security can echo through a chart. Alongside astrology, I studied behavioral-finance writing and habit research, not as a financial adviser, but because symbolism is much more useful when it stays in conversation with how people actually behave.
Over more than 3,360 charts, I began building my own framework. I look at four layers: what security means to you, what receiving feels like, what spending does emotionally, and what you believe money is supposed to prove.
That is also where I believe my gift developed. I am good at noticing when a financial problem is wearing the costume of arithmetic but is actually organized around emotion.
Astrology does not replace a budget, a financial plan or professional advice. It cannot tell you which stock to buy or guarantee that money is coming. What it can sometimes do is reveal why the same sensible plan keeps colliding with the same invisible rule.
My job is not to make you feel spiritual about money. It is to help you become less mysterious to yourself around it. A money pattern usually makes sense once you understand what the money is emotionally standing in for.
